Pregnant woman reported missing in Belén, Paraguay

A pregnant woman has been reported missing from Belén, Paraguay, sparking concern for her well-being and that of her unborn child. Serafina Vázquez Román, 64, filed the report with the second police station in Belén, identifying her missing daughter as Salli María Elva Lezcano, 44.

According to the complaint, Lezcano visited the Belén Health Center for a pregnancy ultrasound. She was accompanied by her mother-in-law, Dionicia Martínez Viuda de Silguero, who reportedly drove her to the center on a motorcycle. Lezcano was dropped off at the health center around 10:00 AM.

Later that afternoon, around 3:00 PM, the mother-in-law informed Lezcano's mother that she had received a WhatsApp message from Lezcano. The message allegedly stated that Lezcano was traveling to Asunción because she was tired of her home situation. Lezcano, who resides in the Hípico neighborhood of Belén, Concepción department, has three minor children who are now left without their mother.
