Prepared salads recalled nationwide at Intermarché and Netto over possible foreign objects

Intermarché has launched a nationwide recall of 15 prepared salad products sold at Intermarché and Netto stores in France.

The recalled items include piémontaise salads, coleslaw, seafood salads, cucumber and salmon torti, vegetable macédoine and shrimp cocktails. They carry the Intermarché, Netto, Monique Ranou and Top Budget brands, while some were sold without a brand in traditional counter sections.

The products may contain “one or more hard foreign objects that are black in colour.” The recall notices do not provide further details about the objects. They warn of a risk of injury or adverse effects if the products are swallowed.

Customers should not consume the recalled salads. They should destroy them or return them to the store to receive a refund. The affected products were sold during August, with use-by dates generally falling between Aug. 28 and Sept. 10, 2026. The recall covers several sizes and batches of piémontaise salad, coleslaw, seafood salad and other prepared dishes.
