President Abinader inaugurates 4km of paved streets in Independencia province

President Luis Abinader inaugurated the construction and paving of streets in Tierra Nueva, Independencia province, on Saturday. The 96 million peso project, spanning nearly four kilometers, significantly improves mobility for the community.

The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) coordinated the intervention. The work included transforming dirt roads into asphalted surfaces, along with constructing sidewalks, curbs, and installing road signage. This upgrade enhances the quality of life and ease of movement for Tierra Nueva residents.

This street inauguration is part of Abinader's broader agenda in Independencia province. He also inaugurated the Boca de Cachón Municipal District Bridge, a 115 million peso project. These infrastructure investments aim to boost connectivity and facilitate the transport of goods and services throughout the province.
