President Abinader to Launch Weekly Agenda Showcasing Government Work

President Luis Abinader of the Dominican Republic is set to launch a new initiative, "LA Agenda Semanal," this Monday, August 24, at 5:00 PM. This program aims to provide citizens with a transparent view into how the president and his administration manage and track the country's key priorities.

The weekly executive meetings will feature Abinader alongside ministers, directors, and officials responsible for specific national issues. Each session will delve into a different topic, showcasing the president's working dynamic as he supervises execution, reviews results, identifies obstacles, makes decisions, and coordinates solutions with relevant government personnel.

The inaugural session will concentrate on the crucial start of the school year. President Abinader will be joined by the education sector team, led by Minister Luis Miguel De Camps, to assess the educational system's readiness. Discussions will cover preparations for classes, the condition of educational facilities, resource availability, progress made, and immediate priorities for the sector.

This new format follows "LA Semanal con la Prensa," a previous segment where Abinader engaged with the press. The "LA Agenda Semanal" is designed to offer a behind-the-scenes look at policy-making and public administration, emphasizing progress, challenges, and necessary actions to advance national objectives across various sectors like the economy, public safety, infrastructure, health, and housing.
