President Erdoğan: Strength is key in today's chaotic world

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered key remarks at a ceremony for the delivery of the Offshore Patrol Vessel 'Cam Roman' to the Romanian Naval Forces and the commissioning of new platforms for the Turkish Naval Forces.

Speaking at the Istanbul Shipyard Command, Erdoğan stressed the geopolitical realities of the current era. "We are in a chaotic period where those who are not strong in the field cannot find a place at the table, and may even find themselves on the menu," he stated, underscoring the critical role of national strength in international affairs.

Erdoğan also highlighted the significant progress made in Turkey's defense industry. "We believed in ourselves, we trusted our defense industry. We have reached levels that could not even be imagined 23 years ago," he said. He expressed his hope that the two sister ships, products of the same engineering expertise, would serve the navies well.

The ceremony, which included a flag-raising for the newly commissioned platforms, was broadcast live by AHaber.
