President Prabowo Attends Wedding of Chief Secretary, Serves as Witness Alongside Former President Jokowi

President Prabowo Subianto attended the wedding ceremony of his Chief Presidential Secretary, Rizky Irmansyah, and Chika Yenalovi, held at the Jakarta Convention Center. Notably, President Prabowo served as a witness to the marriage, standing alongside former President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Both leaders were present at the akad nikah, the Islamic marriage vow ceremony, which took place on Sunday, August 23. They were seated opposite each other at the signing table, both dressed in dark blue beskap suits. Former First Lady Iriana Widodo accompanied Jokowi at the event.

Following his role as a witness, President Prabowo shared that he had offered numerous wedding messages to his long-serving secretary. "I've given many messages, yes. Okay," Prabowo told reporters, as quoted by Antara news agency. He also expressed his prayers and hopes for the couple's future, describing the occasion as "good, yes."

Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, noted Rizky Irmansyah's decade-long tenure as Prabowo's personal secretary, describing their relationship as akin to father and son. Hadi expressed gratitude that both Jokowi and Prabowo agreed to be witnesses, highlighting Rizky's long-standing connection with Jokowi as well.
