President Prabowo commissions 1,204 IPDN graduates as junior civil servants

President Prabowo Subianto has officially commissioned 1,204 graduates of the Institute of Public Administration (IPDN) as junior civil servants, marking a significant milestone for the nation's public service.

The graduation ceremony, held at the IPDN campus in Jatinangor, Sumedang, West Java, saw President Prabowo preside as the Inspector of the Ceremony. He was accompanied by the Minister of Home Affairs, Tito Karnavian. The event celebrated the culmination of the XXXIII Angkatan (Class of 2026) of the Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Administration program.

During the ceremony, President Prabowo presented awards to three top graduates. Aji Bayu Ramadhan, son of a construction worker, received the Kartika Astha Bratha award. Charina Anggie Simbolon, daughter of TNI Sergeant Major Marisi Mangapul Simbolon, and Mohamad Toriq Anwar, son of a farmer named Wartoyo, were also honored with the Sapta Abdi Praja award.

All Junior Civil Servants, please follow and repeat my words. That I will carry out the duties of government to the best of my ability. Loyal and become the glue of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia.

Following the awards, the newly commissioned officials, known as Pamong Praja Muda, took a pledge led by President Prabowo. They vowed to perform their governmental duties diligently, remain loyal, and serve as a unifying force for the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. They also pledged their readiness to sacrifice their lives for the country, nation, and society, and to serve as role models.

The commissioning signifies the integration of these graduates into Indonesia's civil service, where they are expected to contribute to governance and public administration across the archipelago.
