Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto shared a nutritious meal with students at the "Sekolah Rakyat Menengah Pertama" (SRMP) 17 Tabanan in Bali, following an inspection of the school's facilities. The event, which took place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, saw the President interacting with students and parents during lunchtime.

During his visit, Prabowo addressed the attendees, expressing his satisfaction with the "Sekolah Rakyat" initiative. He noted the program's positive development but emphasized that a substantial need for these schools persists. Responding to the high demand and limited capacity at the Tabanan school, which currently serves over 400 students but has a physical capacity for only 270, Prabowo issued a directive to his ministers. He ordered them to accelerate the establishment of more "Sekolah Rakyat" in Bali. "Okay, that means we have to, have to add as soon as possible, yes.
