President Zardari Confers Pakistan's Civil Awards on Recipients

President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday conferred Pakistan’s civil awards on various personalities including the Pakistani nationals and foreigners in recognition of their outstanding services in various fields.

Among the honorees were prominent figures such as the late Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan and Irfan ul Haq Siddiqui, who were posthumously awarded the Nishan-i-Imtiaz. Other notable recipients included cricketer Shahid Khan Afridi, who received the Hilal-i-Imtiaz, alongside esteemed personalities from arts, academia, and public service. The ceremony also paid tribute to martyrs and security personnel who received the Sitara-i-Shujaat for their bravery and sacrifice.
