PRI accuses electoral institute of censorship and political intimidation over 'narco-party' remarks

Mexico's Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) has vehemently denounced a ruling by the National Electoral Institute (INE) that orders its national leader, Alejandro Moreno, to remove social media posts labeling the ruling Morena party a "narco-party." The PRI described the INE's decision as "insane" and a "crude maneuver of political intimidation dictated from power."

The PRI accused the government of cynically using state institutions to suppress opposition voices and infringe upon freedom of expression.
