Prince Harry, Meghan Plan Return to UK This Month

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly preparing to return to the United Kingdom, planning to relocate from their Montecito, California home to a private residence outside London later this month. The move would see their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, enroll in a British school this September.

King Charles III was informed of the planned move on Sunday. While a royal source indicated the King welcomes more frequent family visits, Harry and Meghan's status as private individuals and non-working royals will not change. The Prince and Princess of Wales have also been made aware of the Sussexes' intentions.

The decision marks a significant shift six years after the couple stepped back from royal duties in 2020. Despite the relocation, they will maintain properties in California and Portugal, and Meghan will continue to operate her lifestyle brand, As Ever, from the UK.
