Princess Josephine starts at new school after summer break

The Danish Royal House has announced a significant educational transition for Princess Josephine. Following her confirmation alongside her twin brother, Prince Vincent, the young princess is set to embark on the next stage of her academic journey.

After completing 8th grade at Spir Efterskole near Juelsminde, Princess Josephine will enroll in 9th grade at Ingrid Jespersens Gymnasieskole in Copenhagen. This prestigious institution is already familiar to the royal family, as her older sister, Princess Isabella, also completed her 9th grade there. This move signifies a continuation of a pattern for the younger royals, who began their education together at Tranegårdskolen in Hellerup.

Princess Josephine's educational path has seen several changes, including a previous move to Kildegård Privatskole before her time at Spir Efterskole. Prince Vincent, meanwhile, continues his studies at Tranegårdskolen. The 15-year-old twins, children of King Frederik and Queen Mary, are navigating their teenage years with a blend of public duty and private education, a path familiar to many European royal families.
