Pro-Palestinian activists vandalize UK defense supplier and logistics firm

The activist group People Against Genocide claimed responsibility for vandalizing the Aberdeen facility of defense supplier Ultra Intelligence and Communications and a logistics firm, DSV, in Doncaster. The group stated their actions were aimed at disrupting military supply chains to Israel.

In Aberdeen, the vandalism occurred around 3:00 a.m. Activists asserted that Ultra I&C supplies military hardware and technology to Elbit Systems and the Israeli military. Video footage shared by the group showed extensive damage, including overturned furniture, smashed windows, and messages written on interior surfaces like "ULTRA KILLS KIDS."

Ultra I&C supply military hardware and tech to Israeli weapons firm Elbit Systems and to the Israeli military directly. Actions against the firm have continued to intensify.

Police Scotland responded to the Aberdeen incident, arresting two men aged 39 and 18. They were charged with vandalism and breaking and entering and are scheduled to appear in court. The footage also depicted activists barricading a door and subsequent exchanges with law enforcement.

It is within our power to bring down the Israeli war machine in Britain, and so it must be done. We have taken action against the logistics firm dozens of times, as it transports weapons for Israel's biggest arms maker, Elbit Systems.

Separately, the group claimed responsibility for targeting DSV in Doncaster, stating the firm transports weapons for Elbit Systems. Social media posts from the group framed these actions as direct intervention against the UK-Israel weapons trade. They have previously targeted military satellites and claim to have taken action against DSV dozens of times.

People Against Genocide described themselves as "a group taking direct action to stop the UK-Israel weapons trade." The incidents highlight ongoing protests and activism related to the conflict in Gaza, with activists seeking to pressure companies involved in military supply to Israel.

Around 9:40 am, we received a report of vandalism and a break-in at a business premises on Prospect Road, in the Westhill area of Aberdeenshire. Officers attended and two men, aged 39 and 18, were arrested and charged.
