Prof. Dr. Türkkaya Ataöv's 'The Beauties of Memories'

Prof. Dr. Türkkaya Ataöv, a distinguished figure in political science and international relations, is celebrated in his latest book, "Anıların Güzelleri" (The Beauties of Memories). Published by Türkiye İş Bankası Kültür Yayınları, this collection of selected memoirs presents a comprehensive testimony to the recent history of Turkey and the world through Ataöv's personal experiences.

Ataöv, described as one of the last great Renaissance men nurtured by the Turkish Republic, was a polymath with a colorful personality. His book not only delves into his personal memories but also offers insights into the intellectual world of the enlightened generation shaped by the Republic and the dedication of a life devoted to his country.

The narrative begins in Gelibolu, where Ataöv was born into a patriotic family.
