PSG 'want to win everything', says coach Luis Enrique

Paris Saint-Germain is aiming for a clean sweep of trophies this season, according to coach Luis Enrique. Ahead of Wednesday's UEFA Super Cup final against Aston Villa, Enrique declared the European champions' ambition to "win everything."

We want to win everything and, if you look at history, it’s hard to win all the time. But that’s what we want to aim for.

PSG enters the match having secured their second consecutive Champions League title and a fifth straight Ligue 1 crown in the previous season. The team also claimed the UEFA Super Cup, the French Champions’ Trophy, and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup. Their new campaign kicks off against Europa League winners Villa in Salzburg.

Despite acknowledging the difficulty of assessing opponents based on pre-season games, Enrique expressed confidence in his team's ability to be unpredictable. PSG has brought a strong squad to Austria, including winger Bradley Barcola. Notably, recent signing Lucas Digne, who rejoined PSG after departing Villa Park, is not in the squad for this match.
