PT POMI Plans Water Well Construction in Situbondo to Alleviate Water Scarcity

PT Paiton Operation & Maintenance Indonesia (PT POMI) is demonstrating its commitment to the well-being of the communities it serves by planning a crucial water well project in Situbondo, East Java. This initiative, falling under the company's Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, directly addresses the persistent issue of water scarcity faced by residents of Desa Selobanteng.

The village, situated in a highland area, currently relies on natural springs that significantly diminish during the prolonged dry seasons. Recognizing this vulnerability, PT POMI's plan to construct a water well is a proactive step towards ensuring a more stable and accessible water supply for the approximately 2,050 inhabitants.
