PTPN Group Dispatches 17 Tons of Aid to Indonesian Earthquake Victims

The PTPN Group has sent 17 tons of humanitarian aid to support communities affected by an earthquake in Indonesia's Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) province. The aid, which includes essential supplies and blankets, was dispatched from Tanjung Perak Port in Surabaya on Sunday, August 23, 2026.

The shipment, transported by the KM Niki Mila Utama ship, arrived in Labuan Bajo on Monday, August 24, 2026. The aid consists of 12,175 kilograms of rice, 1,637 liters of cooking oil, 2,616 kilograms of sugar, and 620 blankets. This effort is a collaboration between PTPN III (Persero), PTPN I (Persero), PTPN IV, and PT Sinergi Gula Nusantara (SGN).

The aid was transported using one tronton truck with the KM Niki Mila Utama ship. The ship arrived in Labuan Bajo on Monday (August 24, 2026) at 4:00 PM WITA.

Upon arrival, the aid was handed over to the BRI Disaster Post in Labuan Bajo, designated as the head of the BUMN Peduli Disaster Task Force. From there, it will be distributed to evacuation centers in the surrounding areas. PTPN Group emphasized its coordination with relevant parties to ensure the aid reaches those in need and expressed hope that it would alleviate the burden on affected residents and aid in the recovery process.
