Pumas to host América de Cali in friendly match as part of Fan Fest

Pumas UNAM is set to host América de Cali in a friendly match on Sunday, July 12, at the Olímpico Universitario stadium. This exhibition game is part of the Pumas Fan Fest 2026, an event designed to engage with the club's supporters.

The match marks a significant moment for the club as it ushers in a new era under head coach Esteban Solari. Solari, who recently took the helm after the team's narrow loss in the Clausura 2026 final, is committed to leading Pumas to their long-sought eighth league title. The friendly will also serve as the official presentation for Solari's first signings: Sebastián Córdova, Cristian Calderón, and Víctor Arteaga. These players are currently training with the team to be fully prepared for the start of the Apertura 2026 season, which begins with a home game against Pachuca.

Beyond the on-field action, the Pumas Fan Fest will offer fans a chance to see the team's new uniforms for the 2026-27 season. The women's first team will also be present at the stadium. This event follows the success of last year's Fan Fest, where Pumas defeated Leganés of Spain's LaLiga 2-0. The club hopes to provide its fans with a victory to build excitement for the upcoming Apertura 2026 campaign.
