Purahéi Soul proud of their attire after performing at SoFi Stadium

The Paraguayan musical duo Purahéi Soul, comprised of Jennifer Hicks and Miguel Narváez, showcased the rich tradition of ao po'i craftsmanship during the opening ceremony of the 2026 World Cup in Los Angeles. Their performance at the SoFi Stadium featured meticulously planned artistic elements centered on Paraguay's cultural identity.

Their attire, a fusion of Yataity's artisan work and high-concept haute couture, drew significant attention during the singing of the Paraguayan national anthem before the match against the United States. The design of their clothing was a key element in their international projection.

The styling of our wardrobe is, for now, handled by Nelson Viveros alias Cuco Dislexia Severa. He handled the styling with garments designed by Ancestral Paraguay, by Carmen Orué, and accessories by Tiziana Hoysel. There is a lot of collaboration with the artisans of Yataity, with the work in Aopoi, the embroidery we have on the shirts, and we are very proud of our wardrobe.

Jennifer Hicks detailed the styling of their wardrobe, crediting Nelson Viveros, also known as Cuco Dislexia Severa. The garments were designed by Carmen Orué of Ancestral Paraguay, with accessories by Tiziana Hoysel.
