Qatar donates school supplies to Villa Elisa school

The State of Qatar has provided a significant donation of school supplies to the State of Qatar School in Villa Elisa, Paraguay. The contribution includes uniforms, backpacks, and essential educational materials for both students and teachers.

Mohammed Meshan Al-Shamari, the charge d'affaires of the Qatari embassy in Paraguay, attended the official handover ceremony. The assistance was facilitated directly by Qatar's Ministry of Awqaf (Religious Endowments and Islamic Affairs).

The diplomatic relationship between Paraguay and Qatar was formally established in November 2002. This bond has strengthened over the years, marked by key milestones such as the 2018 visit of Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to Asunción, during which agreements on visa abolition and cooperation in aviation, sports, and judicial matters were signed. Cultural and sports exchange programs have also been established to foster mutual growth.
