Quality investments must create opportunities for local SMEs, Johari says

High-quality investment entering Malaysia should not end with the arrival of capital alone, Johari said.

Instead, it should help build a local ecosystem that gives Malaysian companies opportunities to connect with global supply chains. The emphasis is on ensuring that investment creates a role for local small and medium-sized enterprises.
