Rain on eastern and southern areas expected to continue for four days

Residents in eastern and southern regions can expect continued rainfall for the next four days, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). The persistent precipitation is attributed to a surface low-pressure system, further influenced by a weak upper-atmosphere low-pressure system.

The forecast for Saturday indicates a mix of clear to partly cloudy skies. Cumulus clouds may develop over some eastern, southern, and inland areas, potentially bringing rain. Light to moderate winds are predicted, blowing from the southeast to northeast. These winds could become active and stir up dust at times, reaching speeds of 10 to 25 km/h, with gusts up to 50 km/h. The sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are expected to remain regular.

Looking ahead to Sunday, the weather is forecast to be generally partly cloudy. Cumulus clouds are likely to form over some eastern and western areas, as well as inland regions, accompanied by rain. The wind patterns are expected to remain similar, with light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds.
