Raúl de Tomás faces uncertain future at Rayo Vallecano after loan spell

Raúl de Tomás is back at Rayo Vallecano, facing an uncertain future with one year remaining on his contract. The Spanish international's return follows a loan spell at Al-Wakrah SC in Qatar, which proved largely unproductive. He managed only thirteen appearances, starting just three, and scored three goals in 431 minutes of play. An injury early in 2026 led to the termination of his contract with the Qatari club in February, prompting his return to Madrid.

Since rejoining Rayo Vallecano in 2022, De Tomás has struggled for consistent playing time.
