Raul Fernandez Unstoppable at Silverstone, Jorge Martin Runner-up

Trackhouse MotoGP Team rider Raul Fernandez delivered a masterful performance to win the British MotoGP 2026 at the Silverstone Circuit. The Spanish rider controlled the race from the outset, taking the lead on the first lap and never looking back.

Fernandez, who started from second on the grid, seized the lead from Marco Bezzecchi at the opening corner. Jorge Martin, starting from pole position, encountered issues with his bike's electronics, allowing Fernandez to build a significant gap. By the third lap, Fernandez had set the fastest lap of the race, establishing a lead of approximately two seconds over his rivals.

The battle for second place was intense, with Bezzecchi initially holding the position before being overtaken by Martin on lap nine. Marc Marquez also made an aggressive charge early on, briefly moving into third. However, the race was marred by multiple crashes, forcing several riders out. Enea Bastianini, Iker Lecuona, Cal Crutchlow, and Francesco Bagnaia all fell during the early to middle stages of the race.

Fernandez maintained his dominance throughout the race, extending his lead to over four seconds in the final laps. He crossed the finish line with a comfortable 2.540-second advantage over Martin. Bezzecchi secured the final podium spot, finishing 3.713 seconds behind the winner. Alex Marquez finished fourth, followed by Pedro Acosta, Fabio Di Giannantonio, Marc Marquez, Brad Binder, Luca Marini, and Diogo Moreira rounding out the top ten.
