RCI TH: AMK Says Asyraf Wajdi Must Also Face Investigation

The arrest of a former minister in Malaysia’s Prime Minister’s Department for religious affairs has prompted calls for a wider investigation. Angkatan Muda Keadilan, or AMK, says the inquiry should also examine Datuk Dr. Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki, who served as the minister’s deputy at the time.

AMK executive council member Dzul Hilmi Zainol said authorities should not stop after detaining only the former minister. The call followed action by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission in a case referred to as the RCI TH matter.
