Real Madrid agree personal terms with RB Leipzig's Yan Diomande, Reports

Real Madrid has taken a significant step in acquiring RB Leipzig's highly-rated winger Yan Diomande, reportedly reaching a verbal agreement on personal terms with the 19-year-old Ivorian international. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported on X that Diomande has given Real Madrid the green light on contract terms, mirroring an agreement he reportedly made with Paris Saint-Germain in June.

This development positions the Spanish club as a strong contender for one of Europe's brightest young talents. Real Madrid previously submitted an opening bid of approximately €90 million, plus €10 million in add-ons, which RB Leipzig promptly rejected. Undeterred, the Spanish club is now preparing an improved offer to secure the explosive winger's services.

Diomande joined Leipzig from Leganés just a year ago for around €20 million. He enjoyed a breakout 2025-26 Bundesliga season, scoring 12 goals and providing nine assists in 33 league appearances. His performances, showcasing blistering pace, dribbling ability, and attacking threat from the flanks, have attracted interest from several elite European clubs.
