Real Madrid defeats Leganés 4-1 in friendly, unveils Dumfries

Real Madrid secured a dominant 4-1 victory over CD Leganés in their second pre-season friendly under the returning coach Jose Mourinho. The match, held at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stéfano on July 28, saw goals from Federico Valverde, Franco Mastantuono, and Gonzalo García, alongside an own goal from the opposing team.

Valverde opened the scoring in the 20th minute, netting his first goal as the team's primary captain. García extended the lead in the 25th minute, assisted by Trent Alexander-Arnold. Leganés managed to pull one back before halftime. In the second half, Mastantuono added a third for Real Madrid in the 58th minute, followed by an own goal from Leganés' Rubén Pulido in the 60th minute, sealing the 4-1 win.
