Real Madrid Shocks Transfer Market with Agreement for Chelsea Defender Cucurella

In a surprising move on the transfer market, Real Madrid has reportedly reached an agreement to sign Chelsea's left-back, Marc Cucurella. Renowned Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed the deal, which is valued at approximately 50 million Euros. Cucurella is set to join the Spanish giants immediately following his participation in the 2026 World Cup with the Spanish national team.

This acquisition appears to be a key move for manager Jose Mourinho, who has been eager to upgrade the left side of Real Madrid's defense. Since Mourinho's return to the club, President Florentino Perez has been actively pursuing signings to meet the coach's demands. Cucurella is the fourth player brought in under Mourinho's guidance.
