Reality Show 'Robinson' Returns with Former Couple Leading Teams

The upcoming season of the Swedish reality competition "Robinson" is set to premiere on September 14. Filmed on islands off the coast of Panama, the show will feature two teams, each with ten contestants, battling for victory. Adding a unique dynamic, the teams will be led by Juliette Bergkvist and Christoffer Jarestål, former contestants who developed a relationship after competing in the 2025 season.

"Putting Juliette and Christoffer, who know each other very well to say the least, as leaders of their respective teams gives this season an extra dimension," said program host Martin Järborg in a press release. The show aims to leverage the personal connection between the team leaders to enhance the competitive drama.

This season's cast includes a mix of personalities, featuring footballer Martin Mutumba, Erik Reinfeldt (son of former Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt), and Tommy Sarenbrant, husband of author Sofie Sarenbrant. The inclusion of these public figures is expected to draw a wider audience and add to the show's appeal. The competition promises intense challenges and strategic gameplay as contestants vie for the title.
