Recovered Min Kyung-wook Sees Purpose in Surviving Collapse, Urges Election Fraud Fight

Former lawmaker Min Kyung-wook, who lost consciousness after collapsing during a lecture on alleged election fraud, has announced his recovery. Min, formerly of the United Future Party (now People Power Party), shared an update from the intensive care unit at Seoul National University Hospital, stating he had "thought he was going to die" during the incident.

Min posted on Facebook that he believes his survival and return from the "valley of death" carry a significant purpose. He urged his supporters to "continue the fight against election fraud" on behalf of the world. Min collapsed on July 14 during a lecture titled "Election Fraud and the Vocation of Christians" at the Christian Korea Center in Jongno-gu, Seoul.

He was diagnosed with a cerebral hemorrhage and underwent surgery at a nearby university hospital. The recovery of his consciousness was first reported on July 16 by Hwang Kyo-ahn, leader of the Future and Innovation Party, via Facebook.

Following Min's update, People Power Party lawmaker Lee Jin-suk commented on his post, expressing joy at his recovery and wishing him a swift discharge from the hospital and a return to "vigorous activity." Lee also shared articles on her Facebook page related to alleged "ballot stuffing" by the election commission and the "Stop the Steal" movement, using the hashtag "#ElectionFraud."
