Red Stripe Flavours launches 2026 Netball Jamaica Elite League season

Red Stripe Flavours has officially launched the 2026 staging of the Netball Jamaica Elite League, underscoring its dedication to women's sports, youth development, and the growth of Jamaican athletics. The launch event, held Friday at the National Arena, gathered organizers, players, and sponsors for the country's premier domestic netball competition.

Organized by Netball Jamaica and supported by Red Stripe Flavours since 2024, the league has become a vital platform for developing elite female netball talent and increasing the visibility of women's sports in Jamaica. The 2026 season is set to commence on June 5, with games scheduled every Friday and Sunday.

This season features five teams: the defending champions Kingston Hummingbirds, Manchester Spurs, St Catherine Racers, St Ann Orchids, and the Development Squad/JACE Risers. Netball Jamaica President Karen Baugh highlighted the importance of sustained investment, stating, "This year promises to be bigger and more competitive.
