Remains confirmed as missing businessman's

The skeletal remains discovered in a bushy area in Mon Repos, San Fernando, have been positively identified as those of missing Williamsville businessman Kelvin Samaroo. The identification was confirmed by a senior investigator from the Homicide Bureau of Investigations, Region Three, who stated that the clothing found with the skeleton aided in the identification process.

The grim discovery occurred on July 16 when a resident noticed their dog carrying what appeared to be a human lower jawbone. This prompted the resident to contact the Mon Repos Police Station. Later that afternoon, members of the Hunters Search and Rescue Team, led by Vallence Rambharat, were alerted. Following a search, the team located a human skeleton clad in blue jeans.

At the time of the discovery, Rambharat noted that their records indicated no outstanding missing persons reports from the immediate vicinity. Samaroo, 51, was a businessman who operated on Cipero Street in San Fernando, though he resided in Williamsville.
