Remember her? The girl who acted in Bibin svijet is back in a new series

Viewers who remember Vini Jurčić from the series Bibin svijet will see her in a much larger television role in Specijalisti Zagreb. The 30-year-old actress will play Inspector Ana in the new drama.

Jurčić enrolled at the Zagreb Youth Theatre’s drama school when she was six and later graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Art. She has built experience on the stages of Gavella, Komedija, Žar ptica and Histrion, as well as at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival.

Her work also includes film projects such as Za ona dobra stara vremena and Božji gnjev. She has presented children’s and educational programs and won the Croatian Theatre Award for her performance as Lotte in the children’s play Blizanke.

Jurčić said she had long wanted the experience of filming continuously over an extended period. “I had been wishing for a long, continuous shoot for some time because I was missing that kind of experience, and I love life on set, so everything came together into one great happiness,” she said.

Specijalisti Zagreb starts on September 7 and will air on Mondays. Toni Gojanović, Ivan Barišić and Peđa Gvozdić are also part of the cast.
