Reniec launches free electronic DNI campaign in Carabayllo throughout July

The National Registry of Identification and Civil Status (Reniec) has launched a free electronic DNI (National Identity Document) campaign that will run throughout July in the Carabayllo district. This initiative, organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Carabayllo, aims to make obtaining the electronic DNI more accessible for specific segments of the population.

The campaign is specifically designed for prioritized groups: minors aged 0 to 17, adults over 60, and individuals with disabilities. These groups often face greater challenges in completing such administrative procedures. The services will be available every Wednesday in July, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the San Pedro municipal agency.

Due to limited capacity, authorities are advising interested residents to arrive early and ensure they have all the necessary documentation. Required items include a copy of the beneficiary's DNI and a recent water or electricity bill. For individuals with disabilities, a copy of their Conadis card is also mandatory to verify their status. Reniec highlights that the electronic DNI enhances digital identity and security for various online transactions.
