Renovated "dancing" fountain launched near Philharmonic Hall in Bishkek

Bishkek has seen a technical launch of its renovated fountain located in front of the Toktogul Satylganov Kyrgyz National Philharmonic Hall. This revitalization project aims to enhance the public space with modern amenities and a visually engaging water display.

The fountain complex now boasts updated equipment, including sophisticated water filtration systems and mechanisms for collecting leaves. A key new feature is the integrated light-and-music system, designed to produce a "dancing" fountain effect. This system will allow for diverse lighting and musical programs, transforming the fountain into a dynamic spectacle.

In addition to the main fountain, two other fountain complexes situated on the north and south sides of the Philharmonic Hall have also completed their reconstruction. Mayor Aibek Dzhunushaliev stated that the current launch is purely technical, intended to identify any potential defects before the facility is fully operational.

The contractor has been instructed to thoroughly inspect the drainage system, address any water accumulation issues, and finalize remaining tasks. The broader improvement project extends to Youth Alley and the adjacent areas, which are receiving upgrades to their irrigation systems, outdoor lighting, and paving. New benches, trash receptacles, and six ramps for individuals with disabilities are also being installed, alongside ongoing renovations to the Philharmonic Hall's facade.
