Rescue teams pull two survivors from Nepal hydropower project tunnel

Rescue teams pulled two people alive from a tunnel connected to a hydropower station on Nepal’s Trishuli River, nine days after a wall of ice, rock and mud tore through the valley.

The rescue came as officials and workers continued searching after the August 26 collapse. More than 1,300 people died, while over 5,600 remained missing, the report said.
