Richard Agyare contests NPP East London Chairman race

Richard Agyare, the Deputy Secretary of the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) East London Chapter, has officially filed to contest the position of Chairman in the upcoming External Branches Election scheduled for July 19, 2026. Agyare seeks to lead the chapter, bringing his experience from his previous role as Deputy Secretary.

He has outlined a 12-month action plan for the chapter. The first three months will focus on listening and engagement, months four to six on strengthening the chapter, months seven to nine on expanding impact, and the final quarter on consolidating progress.

Agyare's campaign is built around the acronym 'SUCCESS,' which stands for Service, Unity and Inclusion, Consistency, Commitment to Discipline, Empowerment, Strength of Professionals, and Sustainability. He has detailed a comprehensive 12-month action plan, beginning with listening and engagement in the first three months, followed by strengthening the chapter, expanding its impact, and finally consolidating progress.

With active involvement in both the East London Chapter and his home constituency of Offinso South in the Ashanti Region, Agyare is appealing to eligible voters.
