Samuel Isong, the founder of Ride With Me, explained that the company was established out of years of firsthand experience witnessing how unreliable transportation disrupted events, business meetings, and tourism activities. His work in artist management exposed him to recurring logistical failures, such as artists missing sound checks and executives struggling with airport coordination. He observed event organizers juggling multiple vendors simply to manage attendee transportation.

For years, I watched artists miss sound checks because transportation fell through. I saw executives struggle to coordinate airport pickups, tourists unsure who to trust, and event organisers managing five or six different vendors just to move people from one place to another.

To tackle these systemic issues, Ride With Me has expanded its offerings beyond basic transportation. The company now provides comprehensive services that include tourism packages, flight bookings, travel arrangements, and logistics for concerts and events. Isong believes customers seek a unified travel experience rather than separate industry services.

Growing from a local setup into a multi-city transport network across Nigeria was a massive battle. The team had to deal with tough interstate roads, unforeseen delays, and the stress of keeping the exact same high standard across 25+ states. There were days the road tested everything we had.
