Rio de Janeiro to Host 2027 MotoGP Season Launch

Rio de Janeiro is set to host the official launch of the 2027 MotoGP World Championship season, with the event scheduled for February 21, 2027. The spectacular presentation will take place on Botafogo beach, offering a stunning backdrop with Sugarloaf Mountain in view.

This announcement comes after MotoGP's successful return to Brazil in 2026, which saw nearly 150,000 spectators attend the Brazilian Grand Prix. Rio de Janeiro will now serve as the host city for MotoGP's premier preseason event, gathering all teams, riders, and manufacturers before the season's first race.
