Rising Stars: Young Tax Advisors Achieve Prestigious Wins

A new ranking celebrates the emerging talents in tax advisory, highlighting professionals who, despite their short careers, have already made a significant impact. These rising stars are not only adept at navigating complex regulations but also possess a keen understanding of modern business practices.

These young advisors embrace digitalization, automation, and artificial intelligence as integral tools in their daily work. Their achievements underscore that age is no impediment to success in the professional services market, where a fresh perspective combined with ambition proves highly valuable. The award criteria focused on individuals who have held the title of tax advisor for no more than five years and have a track record of prestigious wins.

This year's top honor went to Aleksandra Bulaszewska of MDDP Michalik Dłuska Dziedzic i Partnerzy. Bulaszewska specializes in tax and court proceedings. Her recent successes include representing clients in multi-million euro disputes concerning VAT, excise duty, and transfer pricing. Notably, she was involved in a landmark Supreme Administrative Court ruling on the ineffective delivery of decisions in the e-Tax Office, the first European Court ruling on the early exercise of VAT deduction rights, and the recovery of over a million euros in overpaid excise duty.

Bulaszewska also co-authored a report titled "Entrepreneurs Under the Taxman's Microscope. Difficult Relations Between Taxpayers and Tax Authorities" and actively participates in the legislative review process, offering opinions on significant regulatory changes. Her success highlights the growing influence of young, forward-thinking professionals in the tax advisory field.
