Rivers to release documentary about her La Velada del Año VI experience

Rivers is taking viewers behind the scenes of her second appearance at La Velada del Año with a new documentary titled “Más allá del ring.”

The Mexican streamer, whose real name is Samantha Rivera Treviño, said the film will condense six months of preparation and personal experiences into a short production. She trained for her amateur boxing match against Spanish creator Rocío López Bueno, known online as RoRo, at the sixth edition of the event in Seville.

Rivers lost the fight by unanimous decision. The documentary will show the challenges and sacrifices that came before she entered the ring, including her training and the controversy surrounding the protective headgear used during the bout.

It will also touch on the emotions that shaped the experience and the support Rivers received from her partner, friends, family and followers. The film will be released on her official YouTube channel.
