RM200 daily pay insufficient for actors, says Nadzmi Adhwa

Actor and host Nadzmi Adhwa believes the daily acting rate of RM200 is insufficient given the significant commitments and expenses involved in filming. He emphasized that actors deserve fair compensation for their dedication, time, and effort.

"It's not that I'm picky about pay because acting is my passion and my soul," Nadzmi said. "But when offered RM200 a day, I feel the money for car fuel alone won't be covered, as we give our full commitment on set."

Nadzmi, 34, and his wife, actress Ardell Aryana, have not retired from acting, contrary to some perceptions. While they now focus on their stable mi kari business, they remain open to acting offers. They manage their business when not scheduled for filming.

He also shared his gratitude for his expanding career in hosting, having been entrusted to emcee events for the upcoming Malaysia Games (SUKMA). "Alhamdulillah, I've been given the opportunity to host the SUKMA event. Insya-Allah, I will start this task next week," he added.
