Road Repairs on Inner-City Toll Road: Tomang Toll Gate Temporarily Closed

Commuters using Jakarta's inner-city toll road will face temporary disruptions as PT Jasa Marga undertakes essential road repairs. The work is scheduled to take place at the Tomang Toll Gate and Ramp B Simpang Susun Tomang, affecting traffic heading towards Cawang. These reconstruction efforts are part of a phased approach, occurring weekly from Friday evenings to Sunday mornings to minimize impact.

During the specified periods, the Tomang Toll Gate will be temporarily closed under police discretion. Travelers heading towards Cawang from the Tangerang direction will be directed to exit at Tomang, navigate the surface streets, and re-enter the toll road at the Slipi 2 entrance. Similarly, those en route to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport will follow a similar rerouting via the Tomang exit and surface roads before rejoining the toll road at the Jelambar 1 entrance.

Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad has outlined mitigation measures, including advance signage, optimized traffic management, and work area restrictions. They are coordinating with the Road Patrol Unit (PJR) and PT Jasamarga Tollroad Operator (JMTO) to ensure smooth operations. The company has apologized for any inconvenience caused and urges road users to comply with traffic signs and instructions from field officers. Commuters are also advised to plan their travel times and routes accordingly and to ensure their electronic toll cards have sufficient balance before entering the toll road.
