Robot Benji visits EL DEBER newspaper and meets local authorities in Bolivia

Benji, a robot known for his travels, recently visited the offices of EL DEBER newspaper in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. The android arrived in the city several days ago with a stated mission: to find his brother. When asked about his search, Benji explained that while his memory is still a bit disorganized, he will recognize his brother on sight.

During his visit to the newspaper, Benji interacted with journalists and presenters, even shaking hands with Pedro Rivero Jordán, the director and editorial council president of Grupo EL DEBER. Benji indicated his stay in Santa Cruz would continue until he finds his brother, emphasizing he had come too far to give up.

Before visiting EL DEBER, Benji garnered attention at an event celebrating Flag Day in Plaza 24 de Septiembre. There, he was photographed interacting with prominent regional officials, including Governor Juan Pablo Velasco and Mayor Manuel ‘Mamén’ Saavedra. All of Benji's activities in Santa Cruz are documented on his official social media channels under the name ‘Yo Soy Benji’.
