Romanian Couple Drives 100km with Deceased Son in Car in Italy, Believing Him Asleep

A tragic incident unfolded on the A21 Torino-Piacenza highway in Italy when a Romanian couple traveled approximately 100 kilometers with their 31-year-old son deceased in the back seat, having mistakenly believed he was asleep. The parents, with the father driving and the mother in the passenger seat, did not realize their son had passed away during the journey.

The grim discovery was made when the family stopped at a service area between Casteggio and Voghera. Upon realizing their son was unresponsive and showed no signs of life, the parents contacted emergency services at 7:30 a.m. Medical teams arrived promptly but could only confirm the young man's death.
