RSU Sumedang Receives 'Muslim Worship-Friendly Hospital' Title in Indonesia

RSU Harapan Keluarga in Sumedang, West Java, marked its 10th anniversary with a celebration that included the graduation of its fourth batch of Tahfidzul Qur'an and Iqro students. The event also saw the inauguration of a new Emergency Unit (UGD) and the hospital's recognition as the first "Muslim Worship-Friendly Hospital" in Indonesia.

During the celebration, the hospital's Director, Hamzah Aonillah, expressed gratitude for a decade of dedicated service. "One decade of serving with heart is a valuable journey full of dedication, which we have successfully navigated thanks to the grace of Allah SWT and the strong commitment of the entire hospital community," Hamzah stated.

He extended his thanks to all partners, the community, and the extended Harkel family for their support and prayers. The event featured a relaxed atmosphere with a "duet" presentation by the Director of PT Harapan Keluarga and RSU Harkel Director, dr. Tri Ermin Fadlina, M.Kes, known as dr. Mimin.

Dr. Mimin highlighted the significance of the 10th anniversary, especially with the graduation of Quran memorizers, which is part of the hospital's ongoing Al-Quran development program for its staff. "Coinciding with this, we also inaugurated the new Emergency Unit building, while also cementing the great history of RSU Harapan Keluarga as the First Worship-Friendly Hospital in Indonesia, which is committed to maintaining the harmony of medical and spiritual efforts for patients," she said.

The "Muslim Worship-Friendly Hospital" certification was presented by dr. Dadang Rukanta, Sp.OT, M.Kes, representing the Central Board of the Indonesian Council for Islamic Health Efforts (MUKISI). He congratulated RSU Harapan Keluarga for achieving this distinction, noting it as a first not only in Indonesia but potentially globally.
