RTL’s New Crime Series Specijalisti Zagreb Opens with Two Cases

RTL’s new crime series Specijalisti Zagreb begins tonight with two episodes and a police team facing separate high-stakes cases.

The opening episode starts during a birthday celebration for chief inspector Zoran Jukić, whose evening is interrupted by a call to a crime scene. Berat Selimi, the owner of a grill house, has been murdered. The trail leads to Agim Bale, a Kosovo businessman with a dark past who owns the Clinton betting shop.

Zoran agrees to work with Zec, an old acquaintance serving a prison sentence, so he can enter Bale’s organization undercover. The team includes Ana Kirin, Luka Horvat and Toni Kovačić. Viewers will also meet Zoran’s daughter Mia, a passionate young journalist.

The second episode introduces a different case. Professional tennis player Lovre Jelaska collapses during training, and his doctor, Dr. Vuković, is found dead only a few hours later. The investigators search for a connection between the incidents and enter a world of doping, secret investments and forbidden relationships.

Their suspects include a coach with a dark past, a manager with financial secrets and a wife who had been unusually close to the victim. All have solid alibis, but the truth gradually emerges. The first two episodes air on RTL at 8:15 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. and are already available on Voyo.
