Russia Attacks Kyiv with Ballistic Missiles

Kyiv experienced an air raid alert as authorities warned of a potential ballistic missile attack by Russia. The city administration initially reported fires in two locations within the Holosiivskyi district. Later, it was confirmed that vehicles were ablaze in the Darnystskyi district as a result of the attack.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko stated that Russian strikes were directed at warehouses in the Holosiivskyi district, leading to significant fires. He also reported the discovery of a crater near a school building in the Darnystskyi district. While the impact damaged the school's windows, the building itself sustained no structural damage.

Earlier, Ukrinform reported that air raid sirens were activated in Kyiv and several other regions across Ukraine, signaling the ongoing threat from Russian forces. The use of ballistic missiles represents a significant escalation in the conflict, posing a direct threat to civilian areas and infrastructure.
