Russia significantly increases ballistic missile use, depleting stocks

Russia has dramatically escalated its deployment of ballistic missiles in July, according to Ukrainian defense data. In the first 19 days of the month, Russia launched 107 ballistic missiles, a figure that surpasses its estimated monthly production capacity. This intensive use of weaponry indicates a significant shift in Russia's military tactics.

Beyond ballistic missiles, Russia's expenditure on advanced weaponry is also notable. The analysis, based on data from Ukraine's military aviation and regional air commands, reveals that Russia has also consumed approximately two-thirds of its projected annual output of the 3M22 Zircon hypersonic missile. This represents a substantial portion of its advanced missile inventory being utilized in a short period.

For comparison, Russian forces fired a total of 102 Iskander-M and S-400 ballistic missiles, along with two Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missiles and 15 Zircon missiles throughout the entire month of June. The July figures indicate a marked increase in the pace and scale of missile launches. The data was compiled by the Ukrainian defense portal Militarnyi, highlighting the ongoing monitoring of Russian military activities by Ukrainian intelligence.
