Russian attacks kill 3, injure 18 in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region in 24 hours

The Zaporizhzhia region of Ukraine has been subjected to intense Russian attacks over the last 24 hours, with forces launching 975 strikes targeting 56 settlements, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the regional military administration.

The relentless assault included 24 air strikes, 712 drone attacks primarily utilizing FPV drones, four rocket artillery strikes, and 235 artillery strikes. These actions have had a devastating impact on the civilian population and infrastructure.

Tragically, three people lost their lives as a direct result of the attacks, and an additional 18 individuals sustained injuries. The scale of the bombardment has also led to widespread damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and essential civil infrastructure across the affected areas.

Authorities have received 95 reports detailing damage to homes and transportation, underscoring the widespread destruction caused by the sustained military operations. The intensity and variety of the attacks highlight the ongoing severity of the conflict in the region.
